Well Boys & Girls,
I have been viewing the video, "Alternative Classical Concert, 1997" and at 4' 53"; in Beethoven's "Romance in F", there is , to me, the most emotional and beautiful few notes in the whole piece. It goes straight to my heart every time I hear it. This is such a wonderful piece of music, and Vanessa plays it so beautifully. In my opinion she plays it in the style of Jascha Heifetz.......Ahh, there you have TWO Great Violinists!
I really love this piece of music. I love watching and hearing Vanessa play it too.
May Our Violin Princess play forever !

Re: RE: 4' 53" or 04:53.........
As you may know, Vanessa-Mae considers Jascha Heifetz to be the greatest violinist of the past century. Heifetz is her idol.
Re: RE: 4' 53" or 04:53.........
Yes,this is true.By the way,Jascha Heifetz was born in Vilnius,in Lithuania ! And lived here also !
Re: RE: 4' 53" or 04:53.........
And Jascha first public debut at the age of 7, was also in Lithuania,Kaunas city.At age of 9 Jascha Heifetz entered St.Petersburg Conservatory.

So,Vanessa Mae grew up on strong Jascha Heifetz influence,(this was also good school to her,to listen Jascha) and then Vanessa Mae found her own style and this is so good !
