I have just received from the Frame Shop, that I use, the Beautifully framed photo enclosed below. It is an 8 x 10 inch photo; one of those remarkable shots that Xanthippe made recently at a Vanessa.Mae concert in Germany. It is one of the best I have seen. It really captures the mood and beauty of Our Young Lady, now that She is no longer a teenager. That is why I wanted it framed.
The frame is 1.5 inch antique silver in a Baroque filigree pattern. It is triple mounted using red and blue .25 inch matting that matches Vanessa's dress and the blue highlights in the photo. It is finished off with a 1.5 inch black velvet top mat. It is also under UV light protective conservator glass. Over all it is 14.5 by 18.25 inches. It hangs in my Library, next to my desk.
