Vanessa-Mae is the Founder of the Classical Crossover Genera of Violin Music!
While surfing the web I came across a Zambian Violinist. named Caitlin Papier. After watching a Video of her playing "Pirates of the Caribbean", I thought there must have been some Vanessa-Mae influence there. I read her Biography, and sure enough she credited Vanessa-Mae with inspiring her. This is what she said:
