No, This is a real photo. The air at that altitude on a day such as this is very crisp and clear. You can see where Vanessa walked to that rock and notice the small animal tracks in the snow. Now I have never been in the Alps, But I have been in The Rocky Mountains and the Sierra Nevada's above 13,000 feet in the Winter time, and you can see forever, on a clear sunny day!
It was the Sierra Nevada's in California I was speaking of. Yes, after I sent my post I remembered there was another mountain range of the same name in Spain. By the way, the Snow Queen photo above is just a section of the full picture. Below is the entire scene.
