In conjunction with the 250th birthday of "Gizmo", Vanessa-Mae's Violin and at the same time the 300th birthday of G.B. Guadagnini the Luthier, (Violin Maker), who built it in 1761, I present you with a short but interesting biography of Guadagnini from the latest issue of The Strad.
