Well Girls and Boys,

I am sure everyone has a favorite Vanessa-Mae video clip that they like best. I certainly do. It is a Teen-Age Vanessa playing Paganini's 24th Caprice. Now, I especially like the 24th caprice. The three violin players and their versions that I like best are , of course our Vanessa-Mae, Jascha Heifetz, and Hilary Hahn I think Vanessa's version is the best.

I think the reason I like her version so much is that you not only see her fantastic fingering, but I think this is one of the best videos to show off her virtuoso talent in bowing. Watch it, you will see her using every string on the violin for most of the 6 min. video. Her version of Paganini's 24th Caprice is very exciting and always gives me a thrill, but it is her bowing that I really enjoy the most.
