See Violinist Vanessa Mae trains with Russian Olympics downhill skiing team for an interesting article on Vanessa-Mae's skiing efforts to qualify for the winter Olympics in Sochi in February 2014.
She has been training together with the Russian Olympic skiing team, and will compete in the open championships of Australia and New Zealand in her quest for qualifying for the Olympic downhill events.

Vanessa-Mae's results can be viewed at http://www.fis-ski.com/. Just go to biographies and search on first name Vanessa-Mae or family name Vanakorn (Vanessa-Mae's family name from her fathers side).
