I just received this official information from Vanessa-Mae's office that the International Ski Federation has apologized to Vanessa-Mae, for accusing her and her staff of any miss conduct in the Krvavec races.
They have paid the claim for damages for defamation, the money of which Vanessa-Mae will donate to a charity of her choice.
That is very nice of FIS and so correct thing for them to do, considering the CAS verdict.
However, it would also be correct for Vanessa-Mae to admit that she should not have paid to have a special tournament organized in a country in which corruption is wide-spread and the norm in daily life. If you do so, you will get a corrupted result. They just assume that it is what you want.
She should also apologize for her participation in Kadyrov's party and also donate that fee of USD 500,000 to a charity of her choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then she would make a real statement. This is all so easy.
