kennedy says - "at least I didn't put drum'n'bass..."

This is the main lobby for Vanessa-Mae related discussions.

Many critics have forgiven me and think I'm a good boy now because I'm middle-of-the-road compared to people like Vanessa Mae and Bond - at least I didn't put drum'n'bass behind Vivaldi

aston villa is really good ! :)
i read an interview with him one year ago and he said
'this orchestra (berlin philharmonic) wouldn't play with the f****** vanessa-mae'
i guess we don't have to believe that, but in fact i've never heard about a concert with vanessa and this very good orchestra.
was there anyone in her career ?
just try to discover the beauty of music !

Well Nigel is just a little P****d off with the fact that our
Girl created the Fusion sound and turned pop/rock songs into
Classical master pieces when he tried to take the credit by releasing the the Kennedy Experience (1999) and Doors Concerto (2000) Which I must say are very good albums in their own right.

I could not care less... I dont like Kennedy. I have only 1 of his albums, his "best of", and my reaction when i listend to it was:
Dude ... if thats the BEST OF I realy dont want to hear the rest of his work
I dont like his sound nor his style. So his critics dont carry mutch weight to my eyes.

Kennedy is Kennedy, and our Vanessa-Mae is Vanessa-Mae: both are fine artists in their own way!

If Kennedy used the words 'the f*****g Vanessa-Mae' indeed, then this fact says more about him than it does about Vanessa-Mae.

Oh he can go f*ck himself, hes just trying to brown nose the critics, and classical peeps, cos hes no longer contraversial. Yes sticking paint on your face aint!

At least VM/Bond have better hair.

Also I much prefer the four season our VM did.

Hes an idoit, slagging people off like this. Is probably cos our VM outsold him!

Also I have never heard VM or Bond do a drum and bass song. They are more dancy tunes. God he does not even know how to talk contempory.

Storm opens with a drum and a bass, and is based on Vivaldi.

At least that is how I interpretted the remark.

I must point out that Kennedy's Original Four Seasons is now officially the biggest selling Classical album of all time :(

Why I don't know?
I think Vanessa-Mae's is by far the best...
But then Kennedy has a far bigger Classical Audience than our girl :(

It is also a matter of counting, I guess. Vanessa-Mae's cd's, including the classical ones, are very often found in the pop or instrumental shelves of the record stores. Consequently, they are not included in the classical sales figures.

I have never seen any sales figures for 'The Original Four Seasons' cd of our Vanessa-Mae.
