This was found on their "Classical Music Upcoming Releases" add-on. I'll check out the circulars this weekend.

Yes, there is, or should be (even though it is not listed on the page).

BTW - the CA1-ECD was in a QuickTime MOV format. I am not sure what format it is on this CD (but perhaps MOV as well).

The "Best of Vanessa-Mae" video is in .mov format and is 4 minutes (53MB) long. See it here.

I wish they could place a mpeg4 format video as an extra, which is dvd quality not like mov, but it seems that they mostly place quicktime mov format videos on music cd's!

Yes Gatis, I agree. Mpeg4 is superior to any other video format. It features great video quality at a relatively small file size. Remember that this format is still new, few people have the codecs to view them (or even know that that means). It will take a 1 to 3 years I think for many content providers to get on board and use it. Also consider, with the RIAA agressively pushing copy protection for everything, I think the quality of Mpeg4 will scare content providers away from using it.

I really dislike the .mov format but it is better than nothing.

Yeah well Glenn I agree, it takes time to enforce something new and the copy protection problem as well.
Well will see, maybe they will place mpeg4 somewhere in future, but I guess they will better release dvd than put dvd quality videos on cd's, but who knows, future is unpredictable.
For now we must be satisfied about .mov it is really better than nothing. :)

I have just encoded "Red Hot" tonight. It came out looking and sounding quite good and at only 38MB. I saw 2 very minor encoding flaws at 11 & 27 seconds (I was opening other pages) but they are barely visible. Anyway the video quality is high so I recommend you view it at 200% or full screen if your video card can handle it.

Also here is the I Feel Love Video

Enjoy, Glenn :)

To Download a short Mpeg4 video go to Andromedia Previews and right click - save target as, on one of the videos along the left. Try playing it, you might be able to, or your media player may go and fetch the necessary codec. To learn about Mpeg4 the Apple's Site has a lot to offer though they heavily push their Quicktime product.
I use the DivX / Mpeg4 codec, The player and codec can be found at the DivX site

Yeah well must agree that m2v or mpeg2 is also great quality format, it is dvd format, the negative thing is that 5 min video takes about 60-100Mb.
