Today I found the parcel with our birthday gifts for Vanessa-Mae returned on my doormat.

I phoned to Vanessa-Mae's office immediately. I talked to a nice lady who told me that they all had been out on holidays lately. She told me that the postman had indeed left a message about a parcel from the Netherlands. She said that when she went to the post office to collect it that it had been sent return to sender already.

I asked her whether it would be alright if I would send the parcel again the next day. She replied: yes please do so.

To be certain I asked her if I had the correct address, which was indeed the case.

I'll send the parcel once more tomorrow. I hope for a reaction on short notice.

I missed Vanessa-Mae's birthday present, I was wondering what did u ppl send her? I guess I joined to forum too late to be a part of this birthday gift

Today I have sent the parcel to Vanessa-Mae again with registered mail. She should have it on next Monday or Tuesday.

This was the third year already that the most active forum members joined in sending our Vanessa-Mae a small attention on the occasion of her birthday. I think that you entered the forum too late to participate. You are most welcome to join for next year in 2003 as our Vanessa-Mae will become 25 years of age.

This year we did the same as for the first birthday project in 2000. All participants designed an electronic birthday card with some personal greetings and wishes. All mailed their contribution to me by email. I printed out all cards in clour print and joined them in a nice booklet. I added a nice letter wiht all our names underneath it.

Last year in 2001, we sent Vanessa-Mae a tin plate with an inscription as a kind of 'fans appreciation prize' awarded on the occasion of her brilliant album STC.

I uploaded all contributions in 2 zip files to the Vanessa-Mae Yahoo club at:

Those are some pretty good ideas for her B-day gifts. I defiantly will like contribute for her next gift
