As mentioned before in this forum, Lorjou sent me a video tape with material of Vanessa-Mae appearances in tv programs on various European channels. i am currently busy with converting these to digital format. Here are the first 4video files.

2 Vanessa-Mae as guest at the Gotschalk show on German television in 1996 part 1 (127Mb)

3 Vanessa-Mae as guest at the Gotschalk show on German television in 1996 part 2 (59Mb)

In part 1, Vanessa-Mae talks to the show host Thomas Gotschalk, first. Vanessa-Mae wears a nice dress with a leopard design print. After this Thomas Gotschalk talks with the members of the band 'The Scorpions.' Vanessa-Mae joins them. In between, she changed into a short black dress, T-shirt with panther design print and a short jacket of light leather over it. She had knee high black boots.

Vanessa-Mae also performs togehter with the Scorpions playing her acoustic violin.

In the part 2 video of the show, Vanessa-Mae performs 'I Am A Doun' in the same long black dress as she had in the beginning of the 'Berlin Philharmonie' concert.

Although, Vanessa-Mae speaks English, German television has the bad habit to simultaneous translate foreign guests which result in the fact that the original voice of the guest is often only poorly understandable. Anyway, Vanessa-Mae looks really nice in these two videos.

As I also mentioned in the news forum I managed to attend the Classical brit awards launch earlier.

I taped most of VMs performance and will send it on to Rijko over the weekend for posting (hopefully you have space)

Also - there are new images at gettyimages of Vanessa at the show. go to www.gettimages.com and search under Editorial for Vanessa Mae

WowLorjou, these are amzing photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The black pants and black long jacket during the photo call are amzingkly nice. And then her face with her smooth complexion and full purple lipstick. It is an art to look so fantastic.

Then the wonderful purple shirt during her performance is so nice. And again her face of course is magnificant with the full red lipstick and her always perfectly applied flawless complexion is beautiful.

Lorjou you taped the show? I assume you send it on videotape? Please do so with registered air mail.

How did her new music sound??

Anyway, judging from the photos, our Vanessa-Mae is a very happy girl!!!!!!!! Both outfits are nice and a very tasteful presentation.

Hi Rijko,

Yes I was abkle to go along to the launch party and made a video of the performance. I tried to post a few details under the news section but my post is waiting for a moderator to check!!!

Vanessa played bach street prelude so no new music but she did give lots of interviews and, as you can see, posed for photos before the performance.

There were just a few people their - mainly classical music industry people and journalists.

That would be http://editorial.gettyimages.com/ .

http://gettimages.com doesn't seem to have anything VM related.

Vanessa-Mae as guest in 'Wedden Dat' Dutch television 1996 (190Mb)

'Wedden Dat' was a series of shows in which a person or goup of people set a certain challenge that they have to fulfil. Famous celebrities are invited as guest to make a bet whether a challenge will be met. The celebrities have to do something extraordinary in return if they loose their bet. Dutch tv does not show this program anymore, but I know that in Germany a related program is still very popular and continues to score high ratings.

Anyway, Vanessa-Mae has to make a bet whether a golf player will be able to putt his ball a mentioned number of times within 10 minutes.

International super model Noami Cambell and Dutch singer Truintje Oosterhuis are the other two guest of this show, together with our girl quite a famous line-up for the show.

I found it very striking that our Vanessa-Mae as youngest of the three guests, yet wears by far the most make-up.

Anyway, she looks great in her tight fitting one piece high-necked brown dress.

As bonus, Vanessa-Mae receives a platimun disc for the sales figures of her album 'The Violin Player' and at the end she perform 'I Am A Doun.'

Did she win or loose her bet, and what would be her counter challenge might she loose?? View the video and see for yourself.

i dont check here for a few days and theres about 400 meg worth of vids to dl and watch.
i think i have about a gig or so of VM vids now.
